Philosophy of Education

Education is that sapling which needs to be nurtured well. The philosophy of education at the Middle Section of Indian School Muscat encompasses a wide array of ideas and perspectives aimed at transmission of knowledge, the development of critical thinking skills, harbouring moral, social, and emotional growth, to prepare individuals who can contribute positively to their communities.

Since education plays a pivotal role in shaping the life of each student, we aim to provide enriching educational experiences from Standard V to Standard VIII. Profile of Learners

A middle school learner starts his journey with the foundational knowledge of core subjects like mathematics, languages and science. The middle school inculcates in him the 21st century skills like critical thinking, analytical skills, advanced communication and problem solving. He is an active listener, efficient collaborator and original thinker.  The middle school learners demonstrate effective communication skills and thereby enabling him to express his ideas clearly and engage in constructive dialogue. They have a fair grasp of history, geography and civics promoting global awareness and responsible citizenship.
