Code of Conduct

The school expects all students to maintain a high standard of discipline.

Being an English medium school, they are expected to communicate in English during school hours. They should be tidy, well mannered and considerate to the needs of others and courteous at all times. They should be dedicated to their academics and actively participate in the co-curricular and co-scholastic activities of the school. Violation of any of the norms of conduct is subject to an appropriate form of punishment decided by the school. Serious offences such as immoral behaviour, indulging in physical fights/brawls inside and outside the school campus, damaging school property and forgery can lead to suspension or dismissal.

Members of the Student Council, Prefects and Monitors together with the Staff are responsible for the discipline of the school. The students must abide by the dress code as prescribed in the school diary. Electronic Gadgets and other inappropriate items are not allowed in the school premise and can be confiscated by the school management if found with the students.

Appearance
  • Students must strictly adhere to the rules of the school regarding the uniform and their turn-out.
  • Any deviation from the prescribed uniform is unaccepted. Parents are requested to monitor the turn-out of their wards in the morning before they set off to
  • The parents must ensure that they pick right fabric prescribed by the school for their ward’s They need to be careful as some readymade garment sellers sell outfits which do not confirm to the school specification.
  • Boys are expected to have a proper hair They are not permitted to sport long side burns/beards while they are in the school. While the boys must keep their hair short and well-groomed, the girls must tie up their hair in a plait with white / black elastic hair bands.
  • Colouring of hair is strictly prohibited. Boys are not allowed to use gel/cream and sport spikes on their hair.

Violation of the Code of Conduct

The school adopts a positive/constructive approach to the management of discipline wherein the students should adhere to the norms of conduct of the school and commit to behave or act in an appropriate manner.  Keeping in mind their holistic development, the school would strive to create a teaching-learning environment conducive to disciplined growth among students.

The school would also make attempts to understand the causes of problematic behaviour among children and counsel them appropriately. However, if the misconduct do occur despite the above measures, the school would be obliged to take punitive action for the purpose of deterrence and in the larger interest of the school/community.

Discipline committee has the authority to take the final decision on any related matter. Violation of the Code of Conduct prescribed by the school attracts appropriate action depending on the act of indiscipline.
